GO FISH GLOBAL?
1) IT IS A PLAN...a fully flexible plan!
This is a confidence builder!
To fully understand the Go FISH Global concept, one must watch the
the training presentations mentioned below.
a) the "Structure" training presentations are designed to help generate the highest level of outreach & evangelization possible for a diocese,
parish and/or group. It also offers numerous roles for those who are
not quite ready to perform one-on-one outreach & evangelization, and,
b) the "Outreach & Evangelization" training presentations, which offer a
quick course on how to communicate and interact with the unchurched.
You can adjust Apple Keynote versions of these presentations any way you
like (make changes, delete things, add ideas, and even remove the words "Go FISH Global" from them). They are here to serve *your* needs!

WHAT IS
GO FISH GLOBAL NOT?
1) It is NOT a group. Go FISH Global is a resource for bishops, pastors,
group leaders and individuals. There is no Go FISH Global group that people can join. GO FISH Global is not here to take people away from your diocese or group. It is here to help you increase your membership!
2) It is NOT here to take over a diocese, church, congregation, parish, ministry or group. The GFG concept is flexible, and equipped with features that help Bishops, Pastors and Group Leaders (in that order) manage the "Net" that they create across their jurisdictions.
3) It is NOT limited to one denomination, culture, language, race, spirituality, organization or style of outreach. It is designed to work with multiple cultures, languages, spiritualities and outreach methods, if necessary. Everything on this website can be adjusted to meet the needs of your organization. Add or remove pictures, words, even the name "Go FISH Global". You can adjust it to meet the needs of any denomination or religion. Use the site as a template for your website needs!
It even takes into account those who are NOT interested in using the GFG concept at all. It works with, and is for, ALL of God's Children!

A diocesan team called “The Port” will be recruited to do outreach & evangelization training.

Parish teams called “Docks” will be recruited to train and support parishioners at their respective parishes and groups.

Formation - people can learn about our faith on the formation section of our website. Your bishop can control the content by moving our resources to his website. If our training is insufficient, GoFISHGlobal.org points you elsewhere!

Keep evangelization consistent throughout the year via the motivating “Dock Hands” who work on the "Docks".

Parish evangelization crews can carry out schedules they feel are achievable. Some Dock members are in charge of recruiting new evangelists.

Our “Burnout Mechanism” helps you avoid burnout! If it happens, the mechanism charitably relieves of their duties those who are burned out. This can be done temporarily or permanently.

GoFISHGlobal helps you find the un-churched a home within the Church that best suits their needs! The Ministry Finder Website is the key tool on the Go FISH Global model that helps you do this.

We have traced successful retention back to the first few encounters that the Fish had when they first visited or revisited the Church. First impressions are key! Go FISH Global’s Welcoming Events can help you retain those you invite!

Follow up is also very important! Some of you can be trained to be “Shippers”, which are the ones that handle follow up!

Go FISH Global is a resource. It is not a group. You won’t lose members to Go FISH Global! We are here to help you increase you membership, not to take your members from you! (Exception: Go FISH Global recruits people for its Headquarter missions. Typically, they are not members of groups.)

If you wish to work alone without a group, that is ok! Some people are just not group minded. We encourage you to use our resources or your own; making sure everything is bishop and pastor approved, and we are so grateful that you want to take action! Let's Go FISH!

Go FISH Global prayerfully comes up with solutions to every challenge that has ever been posed to us! Please contact us for prayer and to discuss possible solutions to overcome the challenges within your diocese, parish or group!
