PRESENTATIONS

Under this menu item you will find the Go FISH Global-created presentations, in a) Keynote (for Mac) and b) Movie format.  In order to understand Go FISH Global concept, you must watch them. You will find the following presentations on that page:

 

A) The "Summary" and "Challenges & Solutions" presentations.
The "Summary" presentations (there are two) briefly explain the Go FISH Global concept. The shorter of the two offers a quick explanation. The longer one provides a little more information. Neither present the entire concept.

The "Challenges & Solutions" presentation briefly covers the solutions to the typical challenges and questions posed by inquirers. It expands on what is shown on the bottom half of the WELCOME page. We recommend you watch at least one Summary presentation as well as the Challenges & Solutions presentation before continuing. 

 

B) The “Structure Training” Presentation, explains how to set
up a Structure across your diocese, parish or group that will help you generate the highest amount of outreach and evangelization possible. The majority of the spirit of Go FISH Global is caught here. It must be wathched in its entirety in order to fully understand Go FISH Global. (Duration 3hrs 55mins)

[NOTE: There is a MINI-Structure presentation (approx. 55 minutes) that will give you a fairly complete idea of the Structure and how it is rolled out across a diocese. However, it does not fully capture the spirit of Go FISH Global.] 

 

C) The “Outreach & Evangelization (O&E) Training” Presentation, 
jumpstarts your diocese, parish or group by offering a relatively brief training session on outreach & evangelization. It takes a fun approach to this difficult task. After watching it, many viewers will say, “Yes, I CAN do this! (Duration: 3hrs, 55 mins) 

 

Here you will also find : A) the MINI-O&E (Kerygma) presentation, which focuses on the Kerygma, for those who wish to use a Catholic version of that method of outreach & evangelization, and B) the Micro (Invitation Training)  presentation that focuses on how to motivate your group members to invite new people to your events.]

OUTREACH & EVANGELIZATION GROUPS

Here you find a list of groups and communities FROM AROUND THE WORLD who, either, specialize in outreach and evangelization or perform it as part of their activities! Contact them: a) for information, b) to set up one of their groups within your diocese (if your bishop approves), c) to learn from them, d) to exchange ideas, e) to set up outreach & evangelization expeditions with them, or anything else! If they do not respond, do not be discouraged. They might be busy. Simply, contact another group!
